If you are from Memphis, then you know about Tops. It is our local chain BBQ restaurant. Known for their "Chopped" pork BBQ sandwich. Every other restaurant in this city does a "pulled" pork sandwich. It is an amazing sandwich and quick. Like any true southerner, make sure you get slaw on the sandwich. The unsung hero at Tops is the cheeseburger though. It is consistent and soooo good. Go check them out.

Just got the chance eat at Tops Barbecue which I hadn't done since I left Memphis years ago. I wasn't disappointed, it was as good as I remembered. I'm going back because there are additions to the menu I want to try. I'm looking forward to going back again. I recommend it still. It's good to know some things haven't changed.

I'm from Alabama and came to visit a friend and we stopped by 3/23/24 and got a Turkey burger and a Double Cheese Burger all I can say is Chefs kiss!!!!! The burgers were absolutely perfect!!!! I had to come back before going back home!!!

I wanted to try some good Memphis BBQ and I was not disappointed. I ordered the half slab of ribs side of fries and potato salad. I just want to say as a Texas Boy who loves BBQ these ribs were so tender and seasoned well. They pulled apart with ease and the flavor was on point. I will definitely be coming back and sampling more. If you are close by stop and try the BBQ. Keep up the great food!

Memphis is one competitive city, especially for BBQ. Many places have life-changing BBQ dishes and sides. I finally tried a sandwich at Tops. I’m telling you that I just enjoyed the absolute best BBQ sandwich I’ve ever had in Memphis! It was perfect! And I’ve had a lot of great BBQ here.
